THE WEATHER is never far from conversation, especially for farmers. It was a case of will it won’t it rain. A 50/50 chance as always. Or as that old Carmarthenshire saying goes; If you can’t see the Gower it’s raining. If you can see the Gower, it’s going to rain.
It held off at least for the Llandyfaelog Show, which took place on Saturday (Aug 31).
Locals and visitors alike made their way to the showground at Pembrey Country Park for the 114th show.
It was a family event as always with a taste of Carmarthenshire agricultural life with cattle, sheep, horses, donkeys, show jumping, pigs, dog show, vintage tractors and more.
