In January 2021, officers executed a search warrant at an address in Ely.
Sambou Kassama, 25, and Iuan Mills, 21, both from Ely, were arrested for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis. A third man, Lewis Williams, 19 from Ely, was arrested in connection at a later date.
The investigation into Kassama also comprised of an incident in January 2021 at an address in Ely, where officers located class A drugs and mobile phones.
Mills and Williams pleaded guilty and were charged. Kassama pleaded not guilty and was charged after a trial.
The following sentences were handed out at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday 17 August:
Kassama β four years and six months
Mills β 40 months imprisonment
Williams β two years suspended for 18 months
