A 47 year-old Felinfoel man who stole two steaks to the value of £9 belonging to the Co-op in Maes Y Coed has had to pay a whacking total of £204 for the crime.
Appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Apr 17) Michael Morgan of 4 Dan Y Cwm faced the charge of theft contrary to section 1(1) and 7 of the Theft Act 1968.
Morgan pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £80. He was ordered to pay compensation of £9, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.
