A 32-year old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £811 for breaking restrictions during the emergency period.
The court heard that On 17/05/2020 at the A487 Rhydyfelin, Ceredigion, without reasonable excuse, during the emergency period, Titas Kavaliauskus of Manchester Court, Federation Road, Burslem left or remained away from the place where he was living, in that he travelled from Stoke On Trent to Ceredigion with the intention of visiting the seaside. Contrary to regulations 8(1) and 12(1)(b) & (4) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020.
Kavaliauskus was fined £660.00 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £66.00 and costs of £85.00.
