DIFFERENT ways of caring for your mental wellbeing are being highlighted by the Pembrokeshire County Council as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Over the next week, the social media team is sharing five ways to help you look after your wellbeing, from connecting with others to being active, taking notice of the world around you, giving to others, and learning.
The week has also seen Interim Chief Executive Richard Brown thanking the Council’s staff for their work over a ‘challenging year’ and signposting them to a new intranet page on mental wellbeing developed by the occupational health team where they can access resources, activities, and support.
“I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to keeping services going during the pandemic. It’s been a huge effort by everybody,” he said.
“As an organisation we believe in the importance and value of looking after the wellbeing of the workforce,” he added. “We welcome and encourage conversations around mental health as well as engaging in the week’s activity ahead.”
