JUST before Christmas Wrexham Council asked for people’s views on plans becoming a carbon-neutral organisation by 2030. Over 500 responded.
Following a close look at the responses, the Council is in the process of finalising plans to further reduce the carbon created in order to make sure the important 2030 deadline is met. This will result in a Decarbonisation Action Plan that will set the scene for each of the four priorities in the Plan.
People are invited to take part in an online workshop on February 22 between 6 and 7.30 pm
There’ll be individual sessions on our 4 key priorities:

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said:
“We need to ensure that our environment is protected and maintained now and into the future. Our Decarbonisation Plan is a very important tool that we will use to ensure we can help reduce the impact of Climate Change and I’d encourage as many people as possible to take part.”
