PUBLIC Health Wales have confirmed that five more people have died from Coronavirus in Wales bringing the total of deaths to 22. It was also revealed that there are now 628 confirmed cases of the virus.
Dr Robin Howe of Public Health Wales stated that coronavirus is ‘now circulating in every part of Wales’ and that the the true figure of those affected is likely to be higher than 628.
Figures released show that Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has the highest number of new cases (61) and the total number of cases confirmed (309).
Cardiff and Vale Health Board has had 29 new cases bringing the cumulative total to 125. The next nearest is Swansea Bay Health Board with 21 new reported cases and a total of 70 cumulative cases.
