SOUTH Wales Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which happened at 2.45pm on the A48 near Cowbridge on Tuesday 11th August which resulted in the death of motorcyclist Robert John Evans, 72, from Whitchurch in Cardiff.
The collision occurred on the A48 Forge Farm Roundabout, Cowbridge when the motorcycle Mr Evans was riding collided with the roundabout and as a result he was thrown from the motorcycle suffering fatal injuries.
Mr Evans’ family continue to be supported by specially trained Roads Policing Family Liaison Officers.
South Wales Police Roads Policing Department is appealing for anyone who may have any dash cam footage of the incident or for any witnesses to the collision or the manner of riding of the green Triumph Tiger motorcycle prior to the collision and who have not yet come forward to contact them via 101 quoting occurrence 2000290842.
