Martin has a long career in journalism having studied to Post Graduate level and beginning work in the North of England on a newspaper in Darlington where he crossed swords with none other than Dominic Cummings.
Something attracted Martin to the green valleys of Wales where he has now become one of the most well known political journalists.
His work is prolific and he is a champion of local news as well as working tirelessly on behalf of other journalists as a chair of the Reach NUJ group chapel.
