These storytime sessions with our libraries are fun, exciting and help to keep young minds active and inspired during lockdown. With a wide range of online stories available, families and children can continue to enjoy reading from the comfort of their own home whilst libraries are closed.”

A range of free online resources are available on the libraries website including Ziptales which aims to encourage children to read through fun, interactive puzzles, stories and games. It is already being used in schools and offers practical activities in a safe online learning environment for children.

Relaxed joining procedures are in place in response to coronavirus so it has never been easier to join your local library and enjoy the list of free resources available online www.carmarthenshire.gov.wales/libraries
