AT 6 pm on Monday 1st March 2021, choirs from across the Caerphilly borough will come together to sing in a fantastic online event to celebrate St David’s Day.
To join in no special equipment is needed, just visit www.facebook.com/cwtshcymru and people will be able to view the live stream and join in from the comfort of their own home!
Throughout the pandemic, many of the local choirs have been staying in touch with each other via online meetings. Nerys Porch of Caerphilly’s Male Voice Choir has been working closely with social enterprise RecRock to organise this chance for everyone in the Caerphilly area to come together to sing along with the choirs.
The event is supported by Caerphilly Council and the Integrated Wellbeing Network, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
To make it even easier to follow along, words will be shown on the screen.
So grab a Welsh cake and a cuppa and come and join in with ‘Caerphilly Sings!’
