There has not been a Conservative MP in Llanelli for as long as the pigeons have roosted on the buildings. We did have a Liberal right back at the beginning but the latest Conservative Parliamentary candidate to be parachuted in to the town has her eyes firmly set on gaining the Llanelli seat.
Of course it was Brexit, which dominated conversation and the prospective MP said that this was the key issue people had been talking about on the doorsteps of Llanelli.
The candidate who hails from Wiltshire said that she intended to make Llanelli her home should she be successful at the General Election.
