Crowds braved the thunder, lightening, rain and hailstones to cheer on the parade and gather for the switching on of the Christmas lights in Burry Port organised by Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council.
The parade made its way through the town to the Memorial Gardens where the lights were switched on.
Carols were sung and there were craft cabins in the garden with a Christmas Fayre in the hall.
