SOUTH WALES Police has named the woman who died in a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 4.15pm on Sunday 12th May 2019.
The collision involved a black coloured Yamaha motorcycle which was travelling easterly along Harbour way, Port Talbot.
Jacqueline Coyne Poole, aged 44, died at the scene of the collision and her family have issued the following tribute:
“Jackie was a wonderful mother to Conor, partner to Martin and special daughter to Pamela. Jackie will be greatly missed not only by her family but the many friends that she easily made, due to her friendly, warm, and compassionate nature.
“She will be missed by so many people.
“She made a big impact during her working years in the care profession, looking after elderly people and more recently in retail, where she enjoyed meeting new and regular customers on a daily basis.”
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or who may have seen the motorcycle travelling along the A4241 Afan Way immediately prior to the collision to contact 101 quoting reference number 1900170002.
