HIGH winds and rain from Storm Francis has caused the following issues for Pembrokeshire this morning, Tuesday, (Aug 25).
· Carew to Tenby road at Gumfreston: closed due to flooding
· Kilgetty to Pentlepoir: closed due to fallen tree (local diversions in place)
· Carew Bridge: flooded due to high tide. However passible with care
· A4115 Crosshands to Templeton road: flooded
In St Clears nine people had to be rescued from a campsite by the fire service.
There is a yellow weather warning for Wales for the next 24 hours.
Train services between Swansea and Bridgend have been suspended.
The bad weather is expected to last until Wednesday with winds in excess of 60mph expected.
