A fly tipping pensioner found herself in hot water after being spotted dumping her carpet along a footpath in Llanelli.

A member of the public captured her on camera carrying the carpet and depositing it in undergrowth.

Footage was then sent in to Carmarthenshire County Council’s environmental enforcement department.

When questioned by an enforcement officer, the woman admitted dumping it.

She was given a £350 Fixed Penalty Notice.

A £350 FPN was issued to a Berkshire man for dumping waste in the Rheoboth Rd, Five Roads, in Llanelli. Council Environmental Enforcement Officers received a complaint about a quantity of waste being illegally deposited and traced the offender to a Berkshire address.
