A Llanelli man has been charged following an alleged attack using a baseball bat in Burry Port.
Police attended Heol Elfed at around 10pm on Tuesday, October 22 in response to several reports of an assault taking place.
The victim, a man, was taken to hospital with head and arm injuries, and has since been released.
31-year-old Jamie Lee Clarke, of Denham Avenue, Llanelli, has been charged with aggravated burglary and breach of a restraining order, in connection to the incident.
He was remanded into custody at Llanelli Magistrates Court today (October 24). He will next appear at Swansea Crown Court on November 25th
