MID and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have issued a message to the public to stay safe over Christmas.
In a festive message the fire and rescue service said: “This time of year can be a very busy one, with lots to do and organise to make sure you and your family have a wonderful and relaxing holiday. There are presents to wrap, trees to decorate, food to cook and parties to organise.
“We at Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service would like to make sure that you do not add any unnecessary stress! So, on 1st December we will be launching our Christmas Safety Campaign. The campaign will provide you with safety advice and guidance as well as reminders for your calendar, all designed to keep you and your family safe during the run up to and after Christmas.
“Keep an eye out for our Christmas Elf on our social media channels. #elfandsafety #elfontheshelf
“In the spirit of Christmas, we will also be running a quiz during the campaign, where you will be in with a chance of winning a Sonos speaker (donated by Lets Connect https://www.lets-connect.co.uk/).
“Further details regarding the quiz are to follow…but we suggest you keep an eye out on our daily safety messages in the meantime!”
