CHRISTINA Rees the Neath Labour MP has been suspended by the Labour Party and has lost the party whip in the House of Commons.
The MP was a former shadow Welsh Secretary when Jeremy Corbyn was Labour leader.
According to newspaper reports local party members in the constituency have accused Ms Rees of bullying.
In a statement to The Guardian, she said:
“There has been a complaint made against me to the Labour Party which is under investigation and I am therefore under an administrative suspension until the process is concluded.
Sitting as an independent MP she will join two others from Wales – Jonathan Edwards MP for Carmarthen East and Dynevor and Delyn Rob Roberts MP.
