BUILDING work is currently underway to build a new £25 million state-of-the-art hospital at the Marina in Swansea.
Sancta Maria Hospital currently in operation at its Ffynone site is relocating to the new development.
The new hospital is due to be completed in autumn of next year.
A newly appointed hospital director, Geoff Bailey is overseeing the development.
The current hospital will close and be put on the market for development to raise funds to cover the costs of the development.
