SUNSHINE, blue skies and clear waters greeted those who made their way to the North Dock in Llanelli this weekend for a damn good splash in the docks and a brisk run and cycle around the Llanelli coast road and Millennium Park.

Hundreds donned lycra or neoprene to take part in the triathlon, which  has been a firm favourite with triathletes for a number of years.

The event has had some illustrious winners in Alex Matchett, Liam Lloyd, Helen Jenkins, Mark Jenkins and Oliver Simon.
