PLAID CYMRU has responded to the supplementary budget released today by the Minister for Health and Social Services, Vaughan Gething.
Rhun ap Iorwerth MS, Shadow Minister for Health and Finance said:
“This is a crisis budget, but what’s missing is the sense that as well as dealing with today’s deep challenges, we have to face up to a new chapter in our history, too. New priorities are emerging, there needs to be a new way of doing things. Wales needs more powers so we can decide for ourselves what those priorities should be in a way which strengthens our economy and communities. We should have had a taste of that willingness to innovate. It’s not there.”
