SOUTH Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2:40pm on Saturday, 30th November 2019 on Cowbridge Road, Pontyclun at the junction with Station Approach.
A grey Mitsubishi ASX and a pedestrian were in collision. The pedestrian, a 76 year old woman from Llantrisant, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff but has since died of her injuries.
South Wales Police would like to speak to any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or who witnessed the manner of driving of the Mitsubishi ASX prior to the collision.
