SOUTH Wales Police is investigating a robbery which occurred at the Asda store on Dering Road, Pontprennau, yesterday afternoon, Saturday, (Dec 14).
Thousands of pounds in cash was stolen when the driver of a G4S security van was targeted by an unknown man at approximately 12.50pm.
The victim was left shaken but unharmed by the incident.
A number of enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace the suspect, who is described as white and wearing a navy tracksuit with white stripes along the side.
