SOUTH Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 5pm on Wednesday 25th of December 2019. The collision occurred on the A465 junction between Neath Abbey and Tonna junctions.
A black coloured Toyota Aygo was in collision with a red coloured VW Beetle and a male pedestrian. Following the collision and despite the best efforts of the emergency services a 48 year old male was declared deceased at scene.
At present the road remains closed for investigation work to be carried out and South Wales Police would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during this time.
South Wales Police would like to speak with any witnesses to the collision, any person who may have dash cam footage of the incident or anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of the Toyota Aygo prior to the collision.
