ON Thursday 12th and Friday 13th September, in the run up to Ironman Wales, Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team will run a ‘Bike Register’ event in the Police Station, Warren Street, Tenby.
This event is an opportunity for members of the public, who live in the Dyfed-Powys Police force area, to come along and have their high value bikes marked with their postcode. Should the bike ever get lost or stolen then this marked information can be vital in identifying the owner of the bike.
Bike marking via this method is a simple and very time efficient method of protecting a person’s property and making it easily identifiable in instances of loss or theft. This opportunity is not available for children’s bikes on this occasion.
PCSO Adam Thomas said “This is an ideal opportunity for residents of Dyfed-Powys Police to get their high value bikes marked with their postcode. We will be there from 10am until 3pm on both days. Come along and get your bikes marked.”
