A Welsh sex offender who had been wanted by police since 2017 has been arrested by police in Brighton.
In a statement South Wales police said: “South Wales Police can confirm that wanted sex offender, Ian Campbell, 40, was arrested last night in the Brighton area following a public appeal.
“A member of the public recognised him and called Sussex Police who made the arrest.
“Ian Campbell was jailed back in 2016 for possessing indecent images.
“He had been wanted since 2017 after failing to comply with licence conditions when he was released from prison.
“He is currently in police custody.”
