A woman who fell from the cliff on Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth has been air lifted to hospital.
Bystanders said that there had been a large presence of emergency service workers including the Coastguard, the police and ambulance service.
One bystander said that the police were quick to place a cordon around the perimiter of the scene.
Dyfed-Powys Police said that they were called to North Beach in Aberystwyth following a report that a woman had fallen from the cliff on Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth at around 7.10pm on Wednesday, 8 June.
