Dear Editor,
Saturday morning I took my 5-year-old granddaughter to Llanelli beach to watch the high tide. I was shocked by the amount of litter strewn about and the full litter bins.
What a horrible advert for this town. We then made our way to the playground behind the Elli car park and discovered chip papers discarded together with numerous half pint bottles of beer.
As mentioned above my granddaughter is 5-years-old and said. “I don’t want to come here again, there’s litter everywhere”.
I think that this little girl has more sense than the mindless idiots that roam our towns and beaches. Reminds me of the Covid idiots “I don’t care. You can’t tell me what to do”
What a sad state our society has been reduced to.
