POLICE in Bridgend are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which happened at around 5.50am this morning on the A48 Crack Hill, Brocastle.
The incident involved a silver Jeep Cherokee and a bicycle heading towards Cardiff. A 71 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Road closures are in place with investigations continue and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
South Wales Police is appealing for any witnesses to the incident or to the manner in which the jeep was being driven prior to the collision to contact them or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
