CARMARTHENSHIRE County Council will begin virtual meetings in June. In a statement issued today, Thursday (May 27) a council spokesperson said:
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a decision was made to suspend council meetings. Welsh Government has now passed temporary emergency regulations to relax some of the rules relating to the conduct of council business, so that important decisions can be made through virtual meetings.
“We will introduce virtual meetings starting with Executive Board on June 1 and the Annual Meeting of Council on June 10. All other meetings will be restarted on a phased basis. You can view the papers and webcast of our meetings as normal on our Council and Democracy Pages: https://www.carmarthenshire.gov.wales/home/council-democracy/
“Further updates will be provided as other remote meetings are introduced.”
